Currently, Replo does not allow access to the currently selected variant when using click events on variant option lists (e.g. size, color). This limitation makes it impossible to implement a common ecommerce pattern where clicking a variant option directly adds that variant to the cart.
Requested functionality:
Allow click events on variant options to reference the variant represented by the clicked option
Expose the selected variant’s variant ID / availability / price in click events
Enable Add to Cart on option click without requiring a separate ATC button
Example use case:
On a collection page, carousel, or product list:
User clicks “XL”
That specific variant is immediately added to cart
This is a standard ecommerce UX pattern, especially useful for:
Product cards
Carousels
Quick-add flows
Mobile-first layouts
Why this matters:
Reduces friction by removing an extra click
Improves conversion rate on collection and landing pages
Enables parity with common ecommerce behaviors found in modern storefronts
Makes Replo significantly more powerful for high-converting product lists and carousels
This feature would unlock a wide range of quick-add and variant-driven interactions that are currently not possible without custom code or external workarounds.
